ROOTING ALCATEL OT 4010X AND OT 918(PIC VERSION)

they say a picture is worth a thousand words so i decided to compile some pics showing the procedure to root both the t pop and ot 918 to help those who still have a difficulty in rooting the phones

 For those who were having difficulty understanding what root of sdcard means.i know it may not really explain  it but just get the concept

 this is how mobile uncle tool looks like when you open it.its an older version not the one found on playstore but the method is still the same.click on "flash recovery from sdcard"

 if you placed the recovery.img correctly that is at the root of sdcard,this is what it brings.if not,it will tell you "no find .img on sd"

 now this is what is called cwm(clockworkmod recovery)mine looks different since am using a samsung phone but all of them work the same).using the vol up and down button,scroll to"install zip from sdcard" then select using the power button

 if you placed the superuser 3.1.3.zip file correctly i.e at the root of sdcard,this is what it will bring.now select the superuser.zip using the power button.NB;do not unzip the superuser.zip file,just leave it zipped.someone ealier asked if one should unzip the file

now choose "yes" to flash the zip file.after that go back and reboot phone.when it has rebooted,you will find that the chinese superuser is gone and you now have the english superuser
